An alliance of pastors and church leaders who want to see God’s kingdom expand across Ethiopia beginning in the West Shewa region of Oromia.
Why create another network of Christian leaders and pastors in Ethiopia?
The Church is fighting a war. In order to win any battle, an army must engage the battle as one body with a singular mission under the banner of one King. The soldiers (Christians) must have access to clear objectives, training, communication, strategy, and the resources necessary for each battalion (church) to carry out its mission.
Ethiopian Christian leaders have been doing well in smaller battles through evangelism and church planting. And to God’s glory, the Church has taken much ground over the past couple of decades. And many networks of Christians have formed for different purposes.
Many of the networks and alliances for Christians and church leaders in Ethiopia are focused on certain demographics (eg. youth, women, theologians, pastors); or they are centered around a certain mission (eg. ending poverty, evangelism, or church planting); or they are attempting to provide much needed theological education; and some are rallying different faiths together for one purpose.
This alliance has several purposes: to unite Protestant Christian leaders together in service to one King; to provide leadership, objectives, goals, and strategy to expand the kingdom; to combat the spread of false teaching; and to provide resources and trainings to leaders and Christians who can’t afford it.
To expand the Kingdom of God across Ethiopia so its citizens flourish spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, and economically in Kingdom Communities until the entire nation is discipled and claimed for Christ.
The broader Protestant Church in Ethiopia suffers from disunity and therefore lacks the ability to win the larger battle.
Some of the problems Christ’s Kingdom is facing are:
In order to win any battle, the army must fight as one team. A unified leadership must provide the objectives, training, communication, strategy, and resources each battalion needs to carry out their mission.
This can be accomplished by:
In order to unite on common theological ground, Christian leaders who wish to receive the benefits of the network will be asked to agree to the following statements:
The benefits of being a member of this Christian leaders network are as follows:
Join us! Pray the kingdom of Christ fills the earth and God’s people take dominion of all Ethiopia for his glory and the people’s good.
